Stay at Home Mom Jobs that Actually Pay

Stay at home mom jobs used to have a bad rep mostly due to pre-Internet times. Many people still believe that these jobs consist of stuffing thousands of envelopes a day to make some money or becoming a sales consultant for cosmetics, driving around a pink Cadillac.

It's just not true anymore. Honestly, I don't think much envelope stuffing even happens these days since the dawning of the Internet. Direct mail marketing techniques are a waste of money when everyone goes online to find what they're looking for.

Now think about it. Who would be better disciplined to take on a job that offers a flexible schedule, multi-tasking, and an opportunity to work at home? This is the reason that the topic of stay at home mom jobs is so hot right now. Work from home moms are a resilient and dedicated labor pool to hire from.

Moms looking for work are caught in a catch-22 (either choice seems to have a negative effect). After they send the kids to daycare, their net earnings deplete to practically nothing. Yet, if they don't get back to work, the family won't be able to survive. These moms are eager to work, but they need something that's flexible.

Perhaps, this is the reason that stay at home mom jobs pop up all over the Internet. These real jobs need someone who will honestly dedicate some time and energy to his or her job, not someone looking for the next get-rich-quick gimmick.

Stay at home mom jobs that pay include:

  • Paid Surveys - not a lot, but it sure will pay the electric bill and allow for some stress relief

  • Affiliate Marketing

  • Content Writing

Check out some of the reviews I have included in my effort to drum up work from home opportunities.

3 Easy Jobs for Pregnant Women Working from Home

Jobs for pregnant women are hard to find. If you're applying for a job that requires a face-to-face interview, your potential employer may not discriminate. On the other hand, the downturn in the economy means that any position you apply for is highly competitive.

Whom do you think they'll hire? Someone that is taking a maternity leave and will need to take plenty of time off for doctor's visits or the person that is similarly qualified that is not a pregnant mom looking for a job. Obviously, it's unethical to make a decision based on this, but the sad reality is that it plays a factor even if on a subconscious level.

Fortunately, more opportunities for work at home moms or moms-to-be have opened up. It's much more than doing at-home-parties or stuffing envelopes. These positions lead to a career in the field of writing, marketing, business, and data entry.

1. Content Writer - This is a great job for the person who loves to write. There are plenty of website developers looking to hire someone to write quality content. This huge field covers everything including blogging, social media, and webpages.

2. Affiliate Marketing - If you've been in the field of marketing or wanted to be, this job's for you. The opportunities are endless including techniques such as PPC (pay per click), CPA (cost per action), and attraction marketing.

3. Paid Surveys - A great way to get your foot in the door and figure out what's hot in Internet Marketing. You won't make a fortune at this, but it could bring in an extra few hundred dollars a week. Make sure you fill out the entire registration forms, so they can send out surveys from several different areas of your demographic.

Finding jobs for pregnant women is easier than you think, if you do a little research on the 'Net. To get started with programs that are designed for moms and pregnant women click here

If you can, try to experience the competition from the consumer end. Buy something. What did you like about it? Use both good and bad examples to build up your business venture.

• Do something you're passionate about.

What do you spend your time doing? Many moms work from home and base their business on what they know. That could be parenting, caring for animals, or working out. What do you love?

Do you like shopping? (online surveys) Do you keep a journal? (write content) Do you like to network among your other mother friends? (affiliate marketing)

How to Find Mystery Shopper Jobs

Mystery shopper jobs aren't just a myth. They really do exist! There are marketing companies out there that will pay for your night out on the town or your next shopping spree. Most major cities offer mystery shopper jobs at chain stores, banks, restaurants, and retail stores. Go out with your friends for shopping and a bite to eat--free.

As major companies expand and programs change, the need for mystery shoppers rises. Vacancies open up due to mystery shoppers moving or quitting; and also, those who aren't timely with the review of their experience or thorough in the description of their experience may be replaced with someone willing to try harder.

Here's how it goes. You go to the store or restaurant. Keep track of your experience. Save your receipts. Then, you turn everything in for reimbursement (yes, you get to keep the product). It's a great way to make some extra money and have fun.

You'll find a lot more jobs in larger cities, but the competition for these positions is stiff. In a less populated area, you may find yourself in demand. If you do a good job, the companies and schedulers will give you as much work as they can.

There are no pre-qualifications. You just need to be attentive and dependable. If you can follow directions, you can mystery shop. On the other hand, if you have experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service, make sure you let the company know.

If you don't have computer access available, mystery shopping jobs are harder to keep up with. Most of the correspondence is done online. This is where you will see recruiting, assignments posted, and reports completed.

You can join as many mystery shopping companies as you want. The more you join, the more chances you receive assignments. Keep your eyes wide open for quality mystery shopping jobs that pay on time and have plenty of jobs available in your area.

5 Steps to Taking Paid Online Surveys

Paid online surveys are one of the best ways to make money quick. You can do it from anywhere at any time. Have a break at work and need some extra cash? Take a survey. Need some extra cash for homecoming? Take a survey. Is the baby sleeping? Take a survey.

There are certain steps you'll need to take if you want to make consistent money doing paid online surveys. And as always, any legitimate website will never lay claim to a get-rich-quick gimmick when we're talking about these surveys.

If you keep the following steps in mind, consistent money should come your way.

1. Find out what other people who take online surveys are saying about the different companies out there. Many network marketers have websites that review the different companies they have tried working with.

2. Put as much information as you can on the registration page. The more information the marketing companies have, the more surveys fitting your demographics will be directed your way.

3. Check your e-mail that you registered with often. You might want to create a separate account just for your online surveys. Once you fill out the registration, you'll get many different offers.

4. Once survey requests start filling your inbox, make sure that you choose and complete the best ones right away. You are not obligated to take any surveys that you don't want to take.

5. Now that you've completed the surveys, collect the money. Most survey companies pay cash. You might want to set up a PayPal account. Others might pay in prizes or products. Others keep track by points that you can reimburse for prizes or cash.

Paid online surveys are available to anyone. All you need is a computer, the ability to read and write, and a little extra time.

Get Paid Today: Online Surveys

The beauty about online surveys is that anyone can take them. Well, almost anyone. You will need some basic reading skills. Many sites require you to be 18 years or older. However, there are online surveys that are looking for the teenage demographic, and they will pay 14 years-old and up.

I remember when I was a kid that I'd go to the mall like any teenager would. We'd roam around looking at merchandise, eating fast food, and seeing what other friends showed up that day. There was this research company that would pay us $20 for our time. I thought I had struck gold. My opinion on soda, chips, and all sorts of teen things mattered.

This just goes to show that research depends on certain demographics. The best thing about this is that the college student, stay-at-home mom, and teenager all have a voice that research marketers want to hear.

You can make a few hundred dollars a month if you try. For a teenager or college student, this is enough income to get by. You don't have to get a job at the local burger joint and beg for time off during homecoming.

For moms, this is the perfect opportunity to make some extra money while the baby sleeps. Sometimes, getting a "real" job nets the same amount of money as online surveys after you subtract the cost of gas and daycare. Anyway, the time you spend with your children is priceless.

To get started taking online surveys, look around and see what people are saying about different survey companies. Sign up with a variety of companies. After that, all you need is a computer and a nice place to sit for a few minutes and take your survey.

Be honest and take your time to thoughtfully answer your questions.

4 Myths of Paid Surveys

Paid surveys are a great way to make some extra money. However, don't get caught in the trap of thinking this is how you're going to make your fortune. You can supplement your income with a few extra hundred a month. That's an electric bill or savings towards that vacation you never get to take.

This brings me to the first myth:

1. You can get rich doing surveys.

No getting rich, but you can expect to make a few extra hundred dollars in a month.

2. You can cheat your way through the survey system.

Research marketers make sure this doesn't happen when you fill out your profile. As you take your survey, they estimate the amount of time it takes to answer questions. If you just zip through everything, you won't be asked back.

3. You will make thousands of dollars a month doing paid surveys.

This may be true if you never sleep. Even then, the chances that you find that many surveys in one given month are rare. Let's say you only take the higher paid surveys at about $2-$10 a survey. These usually take anywhere from 5-25 minutes to take. Do you have that much time to turn it into a couple thousand dollars in a month?

4. You can make up to $175 an hour doing a focus group.

Okay, this isn't totally a myth. You will be paid that much if you qualify for the focus group, but you have to meet certain demographics. If you do qualify for these, don't expect to get a full day's work of these. The chances that you get asked to do more than one in a month are rare. If you do, consider it a nice surprise.

I'm not trying to burst any bubbles. Actually, I love taking paid surveys. It also helps me get a better grasp on what I might do if I decide to branch out on my own in marketing. Paid surveys are a great way to make some extra money, too.

The Reality of Working from Home

Working from home is work. If this simple statement doesn't disappoint you, keep reading. We all know that the Internet is full of fortune fantasies. It can happen, but it doesn't just land in your lap.

Let's think about it. You've read some of those jobs that claim you'll instantly be earning $500 a day spending only a few minutes working from home. All you have to do is type in a little info, and the money starts rolling in. Hmmm, why would people even bother getting a college degree when they can make $250,000 a year without doing much of anything?

This misconception is the reason that legitimate work from home opportunities get a bad rap. So, let's get real about working from home. Are you self-disciplined? Do you have a quiet space that you can work at? Do you need flexibility in your schedule to make a little extra money?

Working from home may be more work than a "real" job.

The reality is that when you get started, you'll end up putting in a lot of extra hours learning the ropes and trying to find the right opportunity for you. Keep this in mind when you get started because you don't want to invest the time and effort only to give up before it becomes self-sustaining.

Working from home for someone else.

If you expect that you'll be putting in some time, you won't be disappointed. After all, you still get to create your own schedule. You can do data entry at midnight in your pajamas. Even better, can't get to sleep? Instead of surfing your MySpace account, try writing a blog for someone that wants to pay you for it.

Starting up your own business online.

The beginning is where most of the work is required. Tasks like setting up a website, joining forums, posting blogs, social media, and much more take a while to get started. Once you're up and rolling, it will get easier.

Blogging Tips for Part Time Work at Home

Are you looking for part time work at home blogging? Blogging is an excellent choice for a motivated and self-disciplined individual that loves writing. Have you ever written a blog just for fun? Do you keep a livejournal account or a MySpace blog? Then blogging may be the best part time work at home opportunity for you.

When you decide to get started blogging, finding work may be hard if you're new to the business. Plenty of forums and programs out there offer a proven system for you to follow. You don't have to reinvent the wheel on this one.

When you look into making an investment in your time and money by finding a blogging training program look for the following things:

1. Training from an experienced leader in the field.

We've all heard the claims about people making tons of money with the system that they set up blogging. Do some research and find out which ones are respected leaders in the field. Writing forums are one of the best places to go to find out unbiased opinions. Many affiliate marketers set up websites recommending the best programs that they've tried.

2. Avoid get-rich-quick schemes.

This should be a major red flag. Just like any job or business, you'll have to work for it.

3. Methods for writing Internet content.

Just the love of writing alone won't get you far in blogging. You need to find a worthy program that can get you up-to-date on the lingo and methods used in Internet Marketing (IM). A good article alone won't get you what you need. You need to know the best ways to use keywords and have a general understanding of SEO to keep your prospects or clients coming back for more.

4. Referrals to legitimate part time work blogging.

These are hard to find. Let the experts show you the way.

Blogging: Legitimate Work at Home Opportunity or Fluff?

Getting started in a legitimate work at home business is tough. There's a lot to learn out there. No need to go through the endless trial and error because people like me can show you the ropes, and present the most legitimate work at home in an easy to find set up based on their own personal experience.

There are many different ways to try to start making money online, but just as many programs offer a lot of unfulfilled promises. I call this fluff. Have you ever looked at some of these get-rich-quick schemes that offer vague things like "thousands of dollars in days" or "instant money?” What do they really mean?

Many of these programs rely on people who are new to the business and have high hopes and dreams of making passive income. Don't be fooled into thinking purchasing a program and filling in the blanks will bring you endless sums of money. It's just not true. Just like any business in cyberspace, or brick and mortar operations, you have to invest time and money in learning the ropes.

I started out blogging. Most successful online companies are willing to get someone else to write their material for them. By writing blogs for other companies, you'll learn the ropes of Web 2.0 properties and the best way to market yourself as an expert. When you decide to do your own blog about a product or service, find something you feel passionate about.

Blogging can present a series of informative articles or reviews. These first person accounts and experiences with certain products or services offer a trust factor that consumers are looking for.

Blogging is a legitimate work at home opportunity. Put your career on fast forward and find a program that already knows the ropes through proven modules and methods.

You can start your own blog and couple it with affiliate marketing, Pay per Click (PPC), and Cost per Action (CPA). Is Forex a Good Home Based Business?

Until recently, a home based business in the trading of currency was unheard of. I've been researching and finding the best home based business opportunities since 2005, in affiliate marketing, paid surveys, and data entry. The newest thing is Forex. Forex majorly increased in popularity over the past couple of years.

Unfortunately, so did online predators looking to make a quick dollar with unfulfilled Forex trading secrets that earn you money instantly. Beware of any get-rich-quick schemes having to do with Forex. The thing is, if you employ trading methods that quickly make you lottery-like sums of money, you can also expect the pendulum to swing back the other way.

  • Look for a program that offers a consistent moneymaking plan.

  • Look for resources, training, and material that supply knowledge and tips in a systematic form.

  • Look for a demo that guides you through a simulated trade before you plunge right in with your hard-earned dollars.

  • Look for the 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back.

  • Look for credentials.

  • Look for a program that is compatible with several trading platforms.

These are just some of the places to get started before you actually purchase a program. You don't have to spend thousands of dollars making a sound financial plan. There are programs that get you started for as little as $100.

You don't have to move to Wall Street to learn Forex. Plenty of financial advisors are just like you. They, too, are thirsty for a home based business opportunity that gives them more flexibility and time to live the lifestyle they choose. In turn, they've created programs based on modules that have worked for major financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank (the leader in foreign currency exchange).

Once you look for these credentials in your home based business, you'll find the choices don't seem so overwhelming. The playing field will be narrowed down to just a couple of leaders in the industry.

If you follow a proven system then you dramatically increase your opportunity for success in the Forex market.

There are a ton of Forex “programs” and “systems” on the market today. Make sure to do your research and learn as much as you can about the Forex before you jump in.

5 Tips for Starting a Forex Work at Home Opportunity

If you're looking for a work at home opportunity, automated Forex software is accessible to anyone of any age at any time. The foreign currency exchange has developed a global trading system since the 1970s. Until now, inside traders of major financial institutions in London, Tokyo, New York, and Singapore had the lion's share of the market.

Automated Forex software has not been around as long. Finding a reputable program is tough. Which one is a bunch of fluff and unfulfilled promises, and which one is a legitimate, solid investment of your time and money?

1. Expect to spend time learning the program.

Any Forex program that tells you that you'll get-rich-quick should be a red flag. Chances are, if it sounds too good to be true, it might be. A legitimate business opportunity requires investment of your time.

The system should provide resources and instructions that take you along the way. Look for a program that offers a demo to see what your pseudo investment will do. This helps the learning curve immensely.

2. Look for a program that is compatible with most trading platforms.

There are so many programs out there that you will want to make trades with, having compatibility with these programs is necessary.

3. Read reviews.

That's right. Get online to find out which systems are scams and which ones are real.

4. Get credentials.

Does the program have any rewards or five star rating programs that it belongs to? This will quickly whittle down your choices of reliable software, and it's one of the best indicators of a good program. Not many work at home opportunities receive software recognition.

5. Is there a guarantee?

Look for a program that offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back. While you can expect to make an initial investment, it shouldn't cost thousands of dollars to start it up. It should also offer reliable and consistent income without huge risks involved.

If you follow a proven system then you dramatically increase your opportunity for success in the Forex market.

There are a ton of Forex “programs” and “systems” on the market today. Make sure to do your research and learn as much as you can about the Forex before you jump in.

Find the Top Forex Program for Making Money Online

Forex has been around since the 1970s, but Forex programs designed for making money online is a new trend. I have been online for the past four or five years trying to find the best programs in affiliate marketing, paid surveys, and data entry. I dropped my suit and tie, 9-5 job, so I could get involved with what I really love, my family.

I have tried every work from home program out there. When I began, there weren’t many people to ask about what the best options for making money online were. The method to my madness was trial and error. Lucky for you, you don't have to do that anymore.

Recently, I decided to take a plunge into the world of Forex. Forex simply means the foreign currency exchange (aka currency or FX). A Forex training program offers expert advice on how to get started. It teaches how to read and create signals for making a consistent income in the foreign exchange market.

If you're considering trying an automated Forex software program, look at these pointers before you purchase it.

  • Don't buy a program based on a get-rich-quick scheme. Look for something that relies on a consistent long-term plan that truly understands Forex.

  • Do look for a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

  • Don't spend a lot of money on your program. Leave that money available for trading.

  • Do look for an automated program based on sound financial advice from leaders in the financial field.

Many of the program creators felt just like you. Many leaders dropped the suit and tie, and come straight from major banking institutions like Deutsche Bank and Citi Bank.

Making money online is rewarding and flexible. It's the best lifestyle decision I ever made. As with any business plan, do your research. Make sure you have the proper training before you jump right in.

If you follow a proven system then you dramatically increase your opportunity for success in the Forex market.

Make Money from Home on the Forex

If you're like me, you want to make money from home. You want to get away from the 9-5 grind and have a flexible lifestyle that fits in with what's important to you. What's the point in living to work? I want to work to live.

When I first got into the work-at-home opportunities online in 2005, I tried a lot of different programs. Some of them were duds and some of them got me to where I am today. Now I am a happy, successful man living a comfortable and satisfying life with the flexibility to watch my kids grow and do the things I love the most.

After trying hundreds of different programs in affiliate marketing, paid surveys, mystery shopping, and data entry, I decided to take the cream of the crop opportunities and save people some time looking for good programs. I make it easy for other people looking to make money from home.

For a few years now, Forex has started to gain major popularity online. Drop the suit and tie. You don't have to move to London, Hong Kong, or New York to be a major player in the foreign exchange currency market. All you have to do is have a computer and a minimal amount of money to get started.

Consider finding a forex training program from a financial specialist in the field of currency exchange. Look for credentials from major banking institutions and sound advice. Steer away from any claim to get-rich-quick. Forex doesn't work like this. A reputable system teaches you how to make consistent money - not quick money.

The investment can be as little as $100. Don't get fooled into thinking you have to spend thousands of dollars on a program. Use that money for trading instead. When you are ready to really make money at home, look into Forex trading software.

If you follow a proven system then you dramatically increase your opportunity for success in the Forex market.

There are a ton of Forex “programs” and “systems” on the market today. Make sure to do your research and learn as much as you can about the Forex before you jump in.

Forex Is A Great Way To Make Money Online

Forex is quickly becoming one of the most popular ways that people make money on the Internet. "Forex" has seeped into the vocabulary of almost every online entrepreneur. The great thing about it is the low-cost startup, and virtually anyone from anywhere can do it.

Simply put, Forex is the "foreign exchange market" that is also known by other names such as currency or FX. This is where all currency trading takes place. Major banks and official institutions make buying and selling foreign currency possible.

Foreign currency markets started changing their faces as early as the 1970s. Today, countries both large and small have switched to a floating exchange rate from a fixed rate. Floating exchange rates fluctuate, so countries have adjusted to rising and falling trends in their currency. It helps buffer the foreign business cycles from a payment crisis by implementing the float.

Where does the Internet come into all of this? The Forex market went online in a major way within the past years. It's one of the highest-ranking ways to make money on the Internet right now. Internet marketers are deciding to ditch traditional MLM businesses and affiliate marketing in favor of Forex.

If you are looking for a good program, you don't have to spend a lot of money finding one. There is software out there that includes reference materials, books, and videos to get you started. For as little as $100, some Forex programs offer full training opportunities in foreign exchange currency, providing signals and webinars from advisers in major financial arenas such as Citibank and Deutsche Bank.

Try finding a program that includes a step-by-step approach, and don't rush into anything. Nothing that claims you'll get-rich-quick is a worthwhile investment. You want a systematic approach that consistently brings in money with advice from some of the top banking specialists.

To make money on the Internet now and later, Forex is a great long-term investment in our globalized economy.

If you follow a proven system then you dramatically increase your opportunity for success in the Forex market.

There are a ton of Forex “programs” and “systems” on the market today. Make sure to do your research and learn as much as you can about the Forex before you jump in.

You Only Need To Do 4 Things To Make Money Online

There are only 4 things online to make money and here they are, once and for all:

1. Product/Service That Is In Demand
2. Traffic to Website
3. Content on Website
4. Build a list for repeat business

I'm sure you've heard it all before, "you just got to pick a product and get some traffic to it!” They all make it sound so easy don't they?

Well, I hate to say this, but it really IS easy. So why are so many people still struggling? Well, presuming they are putting in the time and effort to get all these things inline, there is only one possibility for failure:

They are not getting the 4 points above together.

It only takes one glitch in the above 4 points to make your entire business crumble before it has even begun.

But I'm telling you, once you've got these elements in place, you simply cannot fail. It's physically impossible.

More Money For Less Work Thanks To Blogs

In my last post I was talking about social proof and creating good content as a one-two punch to winning the blogging race.

But I have to admit, there's a little more to it than just writing good content and hoping people will sing your praises and trample their way to your site, particularly in the early days.

You see, whether we like to admit it or not, there's a little bit of elbow grease required to kick any blog into the running, so if you're not prepared to put in some up front commitment, then this isn’t the business for you.

But that goes for any business I suppose right? Well, here the difference with Blogging to the Bank 3.0:

Rob Benwell (the author) has taken the time to pay out a plan that whilst requiring some upfront work, actually doesn't make you slave away for months on end with little to show for it.

Why and how, you might ask...

Well, the reason why his system cuts out the usual legwork is because he explains in detail how to pick a profitable niche right from the start, instead of busting your guts to get blood out of a stone (with a niche people don't but much stuff).

He also kicks right in with setting up your blog the right way from day one so that all of your efforts create this snowball effect where traffic keeps piling on, mainly thanks to search engines.

Finally, he shows you how to best extract money from the blog and how to eliminate your slavery but outsourcing the work required. This gives you your time back so that you can roll out another project immediately and repeat the entire systematic process time after time after time, until you literally reach the income level you personally desire.

If you want to cut out the chores and wasted months of blogging doomsville, then I suggest a read of Rob Benwell's Blogging to the Bank 3.0.

Create Money Making Words That People Will Eat Up

Do you think it's easy to get a few hundred visitors to your blog or website every day?

Well, if you answered yes, then this post is probably not going to interest you.

If however, you find that getting a ton of traffic is far easier said than done, then it's time to get the record straight once and for all...

You see, I used to think that the reason we struggle to get traffic is because there is so much competition and not enough people to go around! That's silly really when you realize just how many people there are online every day, looking for what you're selling.

So it came to my understanding that it's not lack of people, it's a lack of service to those people. Let me explain...

When you walk down your local street which has lots of shops, restaurants on it, which ones make you step inside?

Well, first of all it would be the ones that are specifically selling what you want right?

Ok, that makes sense. But what if you walked down another street which was full of restaurants that were all Italian? How would you decide which one to go eat at?

Well, there are two things:

1. Recommendation (friends tell you to go there)
2. Social Proof (you see other people inside looking happy)

So, just like a restaurant relies on these two aspects to get traffic through their doors, so does every single business online.

This means, if you want your blog to become a traffic magnet, you need to:

1. Have other people talk about how cool your site is
2. Have some kind of interaction with your visitors to show new comers that they are not alone

How to do this:

1. Create killer content (gets people talking)
2. Add visitor counters, comments, forums, polls, surveys, reviews to your blog so that people know that they are not the first in though the door.

Now, adding polls, comments etc is easy. It's just a case of turning on a script in your blog. But as for content, well that's a different matter.

After all, how do you create it, keep adding it, and let people know about it and maintain this momentum for months on end?

The truth is, this is just one of the aspects covered in Blogging to the Bank 3.0. Once you've got the content aspect nailed (which is one of the first things Rob Benwell, the creator, teaches you, then it's a simple case of following his simple step by step system to attract more people to your blog every single day, which then makes EVEN MORE people from the outside want to know what all the fuss is about over at your blog.

Pretty soon, you'll find yourself being that restaurant that everybody wants to kick back at with a nice drink, warm seats and good company... capiche?

So why not check out Rob's story and see if he can't help you get to that point this year, not next year or the year after that....THIS YEAR.

Money Making Blog Content Creation Tips

If you're trying to get more eyeballs on your blog and more cash in your pocket, then there's one thing that fuels traffic and income...good content!

I'm going to cover the pillars to creating good quality, magnetic blog content that will bring in traffic, fans and fortunes if you stick with it for a few weeks.

1. Killer titles

If your goal is to get ranked in the search engines, you need to obviously focus on getting your keywords in your title. However, you also need to balance this with actually creating titles that people want to click on and read. Use controversy, mystery, benefits and breaking news as the triggers for all of your titles. If you can ask a question within your title, even better.

2. Make it "scan-able"

Nobody reads full articles in these hectic times, not generally speaking anyway. Even your biggest blog fan will have times when they need the meat from your content without being told about how poorly your cat is. So use bullet points, sub headlines, accents etc. Make sure you break up large paragraphs so it appears less daunting to read in one sitting.

3. Controversy

Nothing gets more attention (and raving loyal fans) than a person who speaks their mind and kicks up a little dust every now and then. Speak to your audience, don't just be another "me too blogger". Just make sure you don't say anything derogatory which could lead to legal troubles.

4. Use pictures

You only have to look at all the news papers every day and it's clear to see how important images are. They have the ability to sum up an entire article and can also stimulate emotion or provoke a response. Also, it's a proven fact that people are drawn to images first, and then their eyes will gravitate to the caption underneath the image. Guess what that caption could be? Yep, an affiliate link or advert perhaps?

5. Use lists

Also referred to in the blogosphere as utility posts. The types of posts that are often a "Top 10 Ways To..." or "The 7 Things You Need To..." and so on. These are great because they are not only easy to read, but also useful for the reader too.

There you have it - a simple 5 step plan to creating content that is not only worth reading, but can result in increased revenue and more visitors to your site in general. But there's a lot more to wealthy blogging that just great content, which is impossible to cover in the article alone.

If you'd like to know how to step up your blogging to the point of getting thousands of hits per month and seriously boosting your income as a result, check out Blogging To The Bank as soon as possible.

Make Money By Getting Free Traffic To Your Blog

Every online business needs traffic in order to survive, that much we already know.

But in this article, we're going to look at 4 of the most effective ways to set up windfalls of consistent traffic through one of the best publishing platforms online - blogs.

1. RSS Feeds

Most blogging software such as Wordpress come with a built in RSS feed, which is the equivalent to having a newsletter subscription service, but of course is 100% free and requires no details to be passed over from the subscriber. Most people just let their RSS feed sit there on their new blogs but what you must do is submit your RSS feed URL to as many RSS directories as possible. Therefore, when you post new content on your blog, this is syndicated to your RSS feed and the directories display your most recent posts. This is one of the easiest ways to get immediate exposure every time you post content.

2. Blog commenting

If you're looking for targeted traffic and some solid one way backlinks to boost your search engine listings, then try commenting on other people's blogs leaving a link back to your website. Providing you post relevant and useful content/comments on other people's blogs, the blog owner will "approve" your comments and you link will then become live. This can bring direct traffic and of course help with your rankings in the search engines.

3. Guest Bloggers

There are many advantages to having guest bloggers post their content on your site. Apart from the credibility of your blog going way up (depending on who the guest actually is), you are forming a mini joint venture where the guest is likely to tell his/her own audience about the material on your site, plus you may be able to work out a deal where you can return the favor and get access to their blog audience by appearing as a guest writer on their blog.

4. Trackback links

A trackback is when one blog communicates with another to inform the bloggers that their material has been referenced on someone else's post. So if you were to write a really good post, I could write about your post and create a trackback on your blog that tells the readers I've been talking about you and your post. Not only can this bring direct traffic, but also provides another backlink to your blog which is great for a little SEO boost. When would this be most effective? Probably when I have a contrasting opinion to your original post or if I have something helpful (or controversial) to add to the original post.

These are just 4 of many ways to explode your blog traffic, but we're not done yet. It's possible to reach dizzy levels of traffic for your new blog right from day one when you have an arsenal of blogger's traffic tactics at your disposal. Check out Blogging To The Bank for more details...

Make Money Online By Mastering These 4 SEO Steps

It's the most coveted position to be in, it's also the most lucrative when you've got something to sell or a red hot topic to discuss with ways to earn revenue through simple Adsense ads or affiliate programs listed on your page...

...I am of course, talking about being on page #1 on Google.

It's also very hard for many search terms, due to the inability to know what factors will propel you to such a lucrative position.

However, even though we don't know Google's complex code for how it decides to rank pages in its listings, we do know enough to find our own way there by using some tried and tested techniques, all thanks to the growth of Web 2.0, advanced keyword tools and some timeless SEO principles that cannot be denied by any search engine...

Step 1 - Make your site shine first

Your website needs to be easy to navigate, easy to read and interact with and of course have some quality, unique content. There's plenty of ways to create websites on the fly these days and in terms of ease of use I would recommend using a Word Press blog installed on your domain to make the site good looking, easy to navigate and of course search engine friendly.

Step 2 - Add quality content

This is what the web is all about and you'll find that the most valuable and worthwhile content will always find its way to the top of the search engines for relevant terms all on its' own. People will naturally link to your site, plus the more content you add, the more chances you'll have of being found on hundreds of different keyword searches.

Step 3. Target some good keywords

When creating content, target specific keywords that you want to be found for. The more competitive keywords may be hard to rank for at first (whilst your site is still new and has no authority) but you can get found for less competitive keywords with a little effort. You should include the keywords in your page title, opening paragraphs and throughout the entire page. You might want to include the keyword in the Meta descriptions too, although there's less evidence that this actually makes a difference these days.

Step 4. Keyword rich back links

This is the biggie in terms of getting ranked well, especially for your chosen keyword phrases.

There's a difference between getting some simple links back to your home page, and having other authority sites linking back to your page using proper keyword rich anchor text to specific pages on your site. This is an example of a bad link back to your site:

Check out this person's site at http://thispersonssite.com

And this is an example of a great keyword rich, anchor link to your site for maximum SEO benefits:

Check out this person's site <a href="http://thispersonssite.com">My Main Targeted Keyword Phrase That I Want To Rank For Goes Here</a>

Can you see the difference?

Ultimately, don't fall for the hype about SEO and overnight rankings. The reality is, the most stable rankings will take time to appear but once they are there, you can expect a lot of traffic and sales as a result.

SEO is just one part of getting traffic to your site you'll be pleased to know that there is a wealth of other lesser talked about strategies to get sheer amounts of traffic in a few days or weeks, which lasts for a very long time to come. How To Make Money In A Profitable Niche

When it all comes down to it, making money online starts and ends with the market you decide to enter.

These days, all you hear is about "finding your niche" or you need to "find a profitable niche". Well, I happen to agree as do all other successful internet marketers.

But how exactly do you find a niche to get started in?

First of all, let's clarify what a niche is. A niche is like a sub section of a broad market. For example, a broad market might be dating, but the niche you might discover would be Over 40's Dating in North America.

Do you see the difference? Clearly, the niche is targeted to a certain type of people within a wider market (which is Dating in this example).

So, your job is to find a specific set of people who are looking for information, products and services or that generally have a burning interest in that subject. Here's your checklist before you go out and start looking for a profitable niche to get started with:

1. Make sure they are buyers.

There's no point targeting people who aren't interested in buying anything related to that niche.

2. Make sure they are active online.

There needs to be forums, groups and other communities that congregate online so that you can target these people and get to know them properly.

The next thing to do is actually start your research. You can go to Dmoz.com and start looking around at categories listed there. Drill down to find small topics that you'd never think about. Then once you've found something of interest, go to eBay and Amazon and see if there are books/products/services that are selling which are related to this topic.

Then take some keywords that you think are related to the topic and do a search for related forums and groups. You can do that with a search like this:

"your keyword" + groups
"your keyword" + forums

Just replace "your keyword" with the actual keyword you have in mind, and then hit search in your favorite search engine.

Once you've established that there are products that are selling and people gathering actively online in forums and groups, you know that you are onto a winner.

The next steps are to find out what information people want and to start creating some simple articles on your own new domain which relates to this topic.

Then you can focus on monetizing the website and of course, the most important part is getting some good traffic to your site, which is the make or break part of the entire internet marketing process.

It's also far too much to go into detail in this article, so make sure you check out this website to find out how to drive a lot of traffic to your site, plus more ideas on how to find even more wildly profitable niches and ways to shortcut your way to online success...If you'd like to know more about using the new wave of traffic inducing methods to really get your business off the ground, then check this out: The Secret Affiliate Code

A BIg Problem I Forgot To Mention

In the last posts, I've been talking a lot about Secret Affiliate Code 2 and why it's a pretty worthwhile investment for beginner marketers who need it all laid out from start to finish...something that you can literally start on page 1 and go right through to the last page and see a thriving business come out of it.

One thing I kept talking about is traffic, but I've overlooked something that needs to come before traffic that you might have been asking yourself lately too...

How the HECK do I find something worthwhile to promote as an affiliate?

That's where success is decided, before you even get your first visitor. I can't tell you how many times I have created a full blown website, spend weeks trying to get traffic to it and all the other essentials to getting a well paid business up and running...

...only to find out, to my horror, that the whole damn thing was a waste of time...no money being made and nothing to show for all my hard work.

Why so?

Well, it's simple. I simply picked a topic and a product to promote that was a dead dodo. People weren't interested and the whole topic was just lacking a buying crowd. If only I had picked a topic where there were hordes of proven buyers ALREADY out there buying particular products that I could start promoting as an affiliate.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to finding out what's hot and what people are happy to buy in their masses, and ONLY THEN bothering to get in front of it.

Of course, that's the part of Secret Affiliate Code 2 I forgot to mention and I thought you should know that this is covered in the guide.

So you don't have to worry about making the same mistakes that I made when starting out, and you can pretty much walk right into a profitable marketplace, set up your stall and start taking cash right from day one.

Now THAT is working smart.

Make Money Forever

In my last post, I mentioned how you can target lots of smaller keywords which can quickly add up to a ton of traffic from search engines like Google...even if you're a newbie or totally unknown in your market.

But some people will overlook this because it takes too much work. I can relate to that. After all, some traffic building techniques just don't suit all of us in the same way.

That's why I think it's so important to have the chance to try out multiple ways to get traffic to your site so that:

1. You don't get bored of hashing out the same traffic building routine and...

2. If one "system" goes down all of a sudden, you've got other resources that are quietly working away in the background getting you the traffic you need to survive these tough times as an internet marketer.

That's another reason why Secret Affiliate Code 2 works so well, because it shows you numerous ways to build a solid and reliable stream of traffic that can pay you for years to come.

And to be honest, it really doesn't have to be as much hard work as you think. The Secret Affiliate Code even comes with a daily planner so that you can crack on and make sure you don't spend your days running in the wrong direction or simply wasting time.

And if you can't commit any time at all, then your only other option is to pay for traffic. If that's what you'd prefer, then sadly it may come as a surprise to know that running ads online (particularly with Google Adwords) requires the same amount of upfront work as the free techniques found in Secret Affiliate Code 2.

So the ball is in your court, you can work hard and pay for traffic at the same time whilst constantly having to measure your ROI, or you can simply apply the plain and simple techniques for getting free traffic for years to come, all for a one off amount of work.

If that sounds more like your thing, then Secret Affiliate Code 2 is the system that can make that happen for you.

Small Guy Can Still Dominate Search Engines

I've got a question for you:

How can a small corner shop survive over 30 years through every economic crash yet several major high street retail outlets come and go each year?

I was speaking to a local shop owner in my home town the other day and I asked him how he was going to cope with the economic downturn we're all currently facing.

He looked at me and smiled...

"I don't need to worry about that, I own all the business in the area for what I sell".

To which I replied...

"But how do you compete with all the major retail outlets in the big city?"

He smiled once more and said....

"Well you know what, they are nowhere to be seen around here and most people come to me because it's more convenient and quicker to get what they want".

This had me thinking about online marketing. The reason why so many retail stores in the big cities end up folding within a year is because they are back to back with the giants. They simply get overshadowed and die a painful death.

But out of the city, there are still a lot of people around but there's less competition. Furthermore, these people prefer to just go 5 minutes down the street and get what they want from someone they trust.

Online, YOU can be the small shop owner that is put right in front of hundreds or thousands of people looking for what you're selling.

How?

It's simple really; you just need to get your site found for less competitive keywords where there is little competition yet still people searching for what you sell.

It's easier than you think and when you have lots of little "shops" all stacked up around the block, you'll soon see how easy it is to get the lion's share of the business in any market you choose.

So instead of paying for expensive, high competition keywords or trying to stand out in a cluster of competitive giants, why not try a different approach?

That's what I love about Secret Affiliate Code 2, because you can do all of this and more with pretty much ZERO budget and you'll quickly find that you are able to survive this so called "economic downturn" by creating your own empire of local shops that people LOVE.

Go dominate Google today with Secret Affiliate Code 2.

Tips For Making Money By Internet Marketing

Internet marketing is a fairly new area in the marketing field. Marketing websites is close to marketing for other products and services. If you are new in the Internet marketing field there are some tips to assist you. We are going to use this article to examine those aids.

It is advisable not to use additional products and services to increase your sales. Instead of increasing the quantity of products or services, you would do better to increase the variety of different marketing methods. By doing this, only a small part of the total business is affected if one product declines or a marketing response drops.

Be sure to remember that customers are also prospects. You need to stay in contact with them. Try to find or develop other products or services that they can use. Return customers are easier to make a sale to than new customers.

Avoid making exaggerated claims, even if they are true. Bold claims of making money online with no effort or the push of one button create doubt in potential customer’s minds and jeopardize sales. It is better to bring those bold claims down to believable levels. Numerical claims should be expressed as odd numbers with decimals or factions.

When developing offers for your business, create them in sets of four or five at a time. They should also have expiration dates. With expiration dates you can replace the expired one with a new offer and deadline. With a series of offers you can constantly recycle through them. It is also possible to create an irresistible offer by combining a discount price and a set of valuable bonuses in the same offer.

You may need to change your market if you are attracting prospects that don’t have or can’t get the money to buy your product or service. You should target prospects that have an intense desire for the benefits of your products or services. You also need to target those that can afford your products or services.

By offering an exclusive benefit to your customers, this benefit will help sales. The benefit should be something that your competitors can’t or won’t offer. A good example of this would be your personal cell phone or home phone numbers. A lot of business owner’s don’t want to be that accessible.

Advertising copy should be written like the message was written specifically for each reader. This type of copy seems to produce great responses. This can be accomplished by making the copy be written to just one person instead of a group of people. You also might want to write in a less formal, more personal style.

The majority of sales are not made on the first contact. You need to develop a method to capture and save names and contact information of prospects. By doing this you can follow up with them periodically. Sometimes a gentle coaching is all that is needed to make a sale.

Legitimate Work from Home

Whenever I think of a work from home job, I want to know what the scam is. Do you remember the days of the classified newspaper ads where following all the job listings there would be a section of get rich quick schemes? These jobs usually claimed you could get rich by stuffing ten trillion envelopes in one day. Or as time went by, you could stuff CDs and mail them off.

It was hardly a life of get rich quick and work from home. So, now we have a whole new breed of work from home, and this time, it's legitimate? You might feel skeptical at first, but it's true.

Think of it this way, the Internet has made it possible for businesses to cut their overhead by reducing office space, cost of paper, and the cost of commute. The dream of working from home is finally a reality that is easy to grasp.

So what are people doing to work from home these days? Well, when I first started getting into it, I got my feet wet with online surveys and mystery shopping. There are companies that will pay you for your opinion. They will even pay you to go out, buy the product or service, and make a report. This helps the companies know how to market better. I'm not claiming that I got rich off it, but it did supplement my income.

As time passed, I started looking into options such as affiliate marketing and blogging. Don't let the fancy technical terms fool you. Anyone can get started in a life of affiliate marketing and blogging. Set up a website, and find some companies that will pay you commission for selling their product.

Work from home opportunities are everywhere if you explore the realm of the World Wide Web.

You Need Traffic To Make Money Online

The reason so many people fail online so quickly is because they don't get traffic, at least not enough of it.

The problem is, people end up spending money on advertising without making much (if any) profit back, or they simply spend too much time trying to get free traffic and burn themselves out.

Of course, once you're successful you can pay someone to get you the traffic, but how do we get out of the never ending cycle of trying to get traffic without wasting time and money?

Well, I am going to start with the fundamental tasks that you should focus on first, then we'll take it from there...

1. Directory submissions.

This can be achieved using automated submission software or can be done by hand. It's a little dull but will result in lots of back links to your website for better visibility in the search engines. This is pay off as you add more content and back links to your site.

2. Social bookmarking.

This is about submitting links to the major Web 2.0 social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Propeller and Reddit (to name just a few). The great thing is you can use software such as socialmarker.com to make the process far easier. You can also buy inexpensive software to automate the whole process.

The benefit of social bookmarking your content is so that you gain back links from these authority sites (which is essential for being found in the search engines) but also, if you content is worthwhile and interesting, you increase the chances of your submission being passed around other readers really quickly, which can of course result in a lot of traffic to your website.

3. Back links.

Back links are the backbone of getting your pages listed high in the search engines. The more people link to your site naturally (i.e. without being paid or listing your site in some sort of link farm where the site linking to you is junk), then the better your rankings will be in the search engines. Not to mention the direct traffic that will come from the actual links from other sites too.

4. Collaboration.

Most people want to be the "one person wonder" or the sole entrepreneur in their business, which is fine. However, don't underestimate the sheer power of teaming up with other well established websites directly and offering your content, help or other services in exchange for some exposure to your own website.

The classic "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" effect comes into play here and trust me, it works like a charm providing you genuinely approach people to help them first.

There are of course, many other ways to start getting traffic to your site such as writing articles like this one, or getting involved with many of the Web 2.0 properties out there online today. The more social you become with your website at other people's parties, the more people will come to your party when you come to tell them about it...just like real life isn't it?

I've only scratched the surface of getting heavy volumes of traffic to your website. If you'd like to know more about using the new wave of traffic inducing methods to really get your business off the ground, then check this out: The Secret Affiliate Code

Make Money With Online Surveys

Some people are turning taking online surveys into a solid way to make money online. These people find little tricks and ways to make to taking these online surveys pretty fast, and then they use their tricks to fill out as many surveys as possible in as little time as possible. The goal is to hopefully to cash in on the money promised as a result of taking paid online survey. Still, taking online surveys is, to many people, just a waste of time.

So what separates those that make a career out of checking boxes and answering consumer questions from those who just can't seem to make it worthwhile? Speed is the answer to everything. Many people into taking online surveys swear by shortcuts to make the survey-taking go quicker. They pick normative answers to each question and offer little by way of actual personal information. In other words, they click without thinking.

Some people use online survey tools. These tools make finding the quickest and easiest surveys a snap. Online survey tools can even provide information on which surveys pay and which ones don't. Of course, two can play at that game. Online survey tools provide information companies, allowing them to find and locate more survey customers and get more people to take their surveys.

Creating an online survey that people will take is the job of many marketing companies, and they do try to curb people from making careers out of taking online surveys. Frequent survey takers know how to get around any obstacle. It is almost like a game of who is chasing whom, but those creating an online survey may have a leg up in the end.

The gathering of private information is the best way for an online survey company to prevent people from taking online surveys too frequently or using online surveys as a serious form of income. They use geographical information, which can even be located through the computer's IP address, to disqualify certain people from taking too many surveys. Those taking online surveys too often may be rooted out for new survey takers.

Online survey design is another way for marketers to get ahead of people taking online surveys. Through small online survey design tactics, a marketing company can gather actual information from the survey even through massive amounts of answers. They use filters and special computer programs to do this and locate the lion's share of the market research.

People are turning the act of taking online surveys into a career, making marketing companies sweat. The marketing companies are concerned because they question the validity of the popular opinion in the case of these mass survey takers. Of course, people that are taking online surveys may always have suspect reasons for doing it, so the entire process of getting true information from the public can be challenging.

Make Money With Affiliate Marketing

If you are looking for a fun, easy, fast and inexpensive way to make money on the internet, the you should look into some of the affiliate marketing network opportunities that are available. These networks let you represent many different companies and their product lines and earn commission on sale you refer.

There are thousands upon thousands of affiliate programs available, and many of them are for an independent internet store, or for a single product. If you are a very active affiliate marketer, you could end up having hundreds of different affiliate accounts that you have to manage. The emails alone from that many affiliate accounts can be daunting. The advantage of working through an affiliate network is that you can represent many different merchants, and thousands of products, with just one affiliate account.

The affiliate marketing network serves as the go-between that sets up the affiliate agreements that the merchant site abide by as well as the affiliates. This arrangement attracts merchants who are looking for an instant pool of affiliates to market their latest product or promotion, and it attracts many affiliates who benefit from being able to offer a wide variety of products.

One of the other advantages to affiliates of participating in this type of marketing affiliate program is that the tracking is much easier on the affiliate. By logging into your affiliate network account, you can easily see all of the activity in your account, and most programs allow you to export your tracking information so that you can do data analysis in a spreadsheet program like Excel.

Many people don't think carefully about the step of getting paid, even though it is the reason for being an active affiliate marketer. Virtually all affiliate programs, whether it is a program for an individual company or a large group, have a minimum amount you must earn in affiliate commissions before they will pay you. If you have 100 separate affiliate programs, all with different minimums, you could have hundreds or even thousands of dollars in commissions locked up because you don't meet the minimum for all or most of these programs. If you are doing most of your affiliate promotions through centralized affiliate network, it will take much less effort to start receiving your affiliate commissions because they will add up to the minimum much more quickly.

The requirements for getting started as an affiliate are usually pretty simple. Some networks require you to have your own website, but some are satisfied if you have a blog or an email newsletter that you will use to promote their links. Of course, you need reliable email that you have some control over as far as filtering, so that you do receive important affiliate communications.

Some of the biggest affiliate networks are: Commission Junction, ClickBank, LinkShare, Direct Leads, and WebSponsors. Many people start with ClickBank because the percent of commissions is high compared to the others. However, some people prefer Commission Junction because their network includes many well-known sites, and some people feel that having banners from these well-know sites lend credibility to their own website.

If you are new to the area of work from home internet business, then another advantage of starting with an affiliate marketing network is that many of them also offer valuable training material to help you learn how to become a successful affiliate marketer.
